Centre-Val de Loire : Votez pour le nom de ses habitants !
The French region Centre-Val de Loire is holding a public vote to choose a new name for its inhabitants (a gentilé). Residents can now select from 10 finalist names.
La Région Centre-Val de Loire, située au cœur de la France, cherche un nom pour ses habitants. Ce nom, appelé un "gentilé", n'existait pas pour cette région qui regroupe six départements. Le Conseil Régional a décidé de lancer un processus pour résoudre ce problème d'identité. C'est une démarche intéressante pour définir collectivement les citoyens de ce territoire.
