An Ebola epidemic in the DRC is concerning the WHO as it's caused by the Bundibugyo virus, against which current vaccines are ineffective.
Une importante épidémie de maladie Ebola frappe la République démocratique du Congo (RDC). Pour cette raison, la visite du directeur général de l'Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS), le Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a été repoussée de mardi à jeudi 28 mai 2026. L'OMS a même déclenché une alerte sanitaire internationale, montrant la gravité de la situation.
