These terms govern your use of the Mundo language learning app. By using Mundo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You can use Mundo as a guest or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. One account per person: don't share accounts or create multiple accounts.
Pro is a paid subscription, monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial. Max is a monthly subscription, with no annual plan and no free trial. The price is the one shown at checkout, or the store price in the Android and iOS apps. On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. In the Android app they are billed through Google Play; Google charges your Google account and you manage or cancel the subscription in the Play Store. In the iOS app they are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase and managed in your Apple ID account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. On the web, cancel anytime through the Settings page. Deleting your Mundo account cancels a Stripe subscription and does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and the relevant store's policies (Stripe, Google Play, or Apple). Existing Premium subscribers keep Pro.
Mundo provides news articles sourced from public feeds and AI-generated translations, explanations, and quizzes. AI-generated content is provided as a learning aid and may not always be perfectly accurate. Do not rely on Mundo for professional translation, legal, or medical purposes. News content belongs to its original publishers.
Use Mundo for its intended purpose: language learning. Don't attempt to abuse API endpoints, reverse-engineer the app, or interfere with other users' experience. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The Mundo app, its design, code, and original content are our intellectual property. Your learning data (vocabulary, progress, reading history) belongs to you. You grant us a license to store and process your data to provide the service.
Mundo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Mundo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
