Delete your account

What is deleted

• Your Firebase Authentication account (email, name, and the Google sign-in profile)
• Your profile, reading history, vocabulary, quiz progress, streaks, and notification tokens
• Friend connections, feedback you sent (including the email stored on it), and your name on the current leaderboard

Subscriptions

A Premium subscription billed on the web through Stripe is cancelled when the account is deleted. A subscription billed by Google Play or Apple is not cancelled by deleting your Mundo account, because those stores bill you directly. Cancel a Play subscription in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions, and an App Store subscription in your Apple ID subscriptions, or the store will keep charging you.

What we keep

We store a deletion record that contains only your account id, the time of deletion, and whether a store subscription still needed cancelling. It does not contain your name or email. Server logs that already contain an account id remain until the logging platform expires them. Payment processors keep their own records under their policies.
