Mundo is a language learning app that helps you learn by reading real news articles. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. If you use the app as a guest, we create an anonymous account with no personal information attached.
We store your reading history, vocabulary bank, quiz scores, streaks, gem balance, proficiency level, and language preferences. This data powers your personalized learning experience.
We collect basic usage information such as articles read, time spent reading, and feature interactions to improve the app experience.

Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies.
Mundo uses browser local storage to save your authentication session, app preferences (e.g., dismiss states, PWA install prompt), and offline data. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
Your learning data is retained as long as your account is active. Translation cache entries expire after 90 days. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also sign out and stop using the app at any time.
Mundo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
