Die Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) hat die Landtagswahl in Sachsen-Anhalt deutlich gewonnen. Ihr Spitzenkandidat ist Ulrich Siegmund. Allerdings hat die Partei die absolute Mehrheit, also mehr als 50% der Stimmen, nicht erreicht. Die CDU, mit dem amtierenden Ministerpräsidenten Sven Schulze, hat Verluste erlitten und ist auf den zweiten Platz zurückgefallen.
