Am Montag gab es eine dramatische Rettungsaktion im Oman: Omanische Einsatzkräfte haben 24 Seeleute aus Indien von einem brennenden Tanker gerettet. Die Rettung fand mit Hubschraubern statt, vor der Küste des Oman. Das indische Schiff, das unter der Flagge von Palau fuhr und "Marivex" heißt, geriet gegen 13:30 Uhr (Ortszeit) im Golf von Oman in Brand.
