La acogida de menores migrantes que llegaron a Ceuta ha generado una tensión entre el Gobierno central y las comunidades autónomas gobernadas por el PP. A pesar de que el presidente de Ceuta ha solicitado ayuda para trasladar a los menores, el PP, a través de su secretario general Miguel Tellado, se ha negado a acogerlos, exigiendo que "vuelvan por donde han venido", incluyendo a los niños.
